The
Camrose Regional Exhibition is pleased and proud to present
the 17th annual Festival of Trees in Camrose. This sparkling
seasonal event will take place November 25 - 27, 2011 at
the Camrose Regional Exhibition.
“Unwrap
The Magic” (gala receptions) will be held on Thursday
November 24th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. This reception will
be replacing the Gala Dinner. Silent and Live Auctions,
with a wine bar, signature drinks and delicious gourmet
passed appetizers all amongst the decorated trees. Tickets
for Unwrap the Magic are $25 per person (advance sales only).
A
Teddy Bear Disco for children up to age 12 (accompanied
by a parent) will be held Wednesday November 23. The Festival
itself will open to the general public at noon on Friday
November 25th . The festival will feature Children’s
World, live entertainment and of course, the central theme
- glittering, wonderfully decorated trees.
We
invite all of the schools, human service agencies, non-profit
agencies, churches, clubs and organizations to participate
in this special community event by entering a Competition
Tree. There will be certificates awarded to the winning
tree in each group. Rules for the tree competition are included
as well as the entry form. Trees will be grouped according
to the age ranges of those competing - eg., children’s
club (cubs, scouts, 4-H, etc.), service clubs such as the
Kinsmen or Lions where adults would be making the decorations
or by school grades. If there are enough trees competing,
the groups could also be broken into separate categories.

Gingerbread
House Decorating Competition
