2018 Camrose Regional Exhibition 50/50 RAFFLE RULES

1. Dates and Location of Draws:
The Dates of the 2018 50/50 draws will be: August 2, 3, 4, 5,  All Draws will take place in the 50/50 room located in the east end of the Camrose Regional Exhibition Administration building, 4250 Exhibition Drive, Camrose Regional Exhibition Grounds, Camrose Alberta.

2. Eligibility:
No one under the age of 18 years of age may purchase tickets. There are no restrictions on participation of Camrose Regional Exhibition Board of Directors, Members, Volunteers, Employees and families of the above mentioned. The only restrictions on participation are employees of the Service Provider and the Gaming Chairman or designate who will be making the draw. All raffle ticket sellers must advise adult ticket buyers not to give their ticket to a person under the age of 18 years of age.

3. Tickets:
Tickets are sold through the Electronic Tickets provided by the Service Provider. Packages available for sale will be: 1 Ticket for $5.00 3 Tickets for $10.00 10 Tickets for $20.00

4. Ticket Sales Cut off:
Thursday, August 2, 2018 – 8:00 pm
Friday, August 3, 2018 – 7:45 pm
Saturday, August 4, 2018 – 7:45 pm
Sunday, August 5, 2018 – 7:45 pm

5. No Refunds:
All Ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued for any reason.

6. All Draws will take place in the following manner: All ticket stubs from tickets sold are placed in the draw container. The Gaming Chairman or designate will make the draw in the presence of one executive member of the Camrose Regional Exhibition and one member of the public in the 50/50 room, along with an AGLC inspector if present. The Gaming Chairman or designate must not own a ticket or a share in a ticket that is in the draw. The draw shall be conducted in accordance with AGLC’s Draw Procedures. The CRE will video tape each draw made.

7. Winning Ticket Notification:
Once the winning ticket is drawn and verified, it will be transported to the Coors Banquet Saloon Stage (Thursday only), or the Main Stage (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The MC will announce the winning number and will show it on the big screens (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only). The winning number will also be placed on all 50/50-Nevada Booths on the grounds and the 50/50 administration building. The winning number will also be posted to the CRE website – www.cre.ab.ca, CRE facebook page, CRE twitter account, and the 5050 central website – www.ps5050.com/BVJ.

8. Prizes must be claimed by:
For Thursday, August 2, 2018 – the winner has until 12:00 noon on Friday, August 3, 2018 to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed the prize will be forfeited and carried forward to the Friday, August 3, 2018 draw. For Friday, August 3, 2018 – the winner has until 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 4, 2018 to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed the prize will be forfeited and carried forward to the Saturday, August 4, 2018 draw. For Saturday, August 4, 2018 – the winner has until 12:00 noon on Sunday, August 5, 2018 to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed the prize will be forfeited and carried forward to the Sunday, August 5, 2018 draw. For Sunday, August 5, 2018 – the winner has until 12:00 noon on Monday, August 6, 2018 to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed the prize will be forfeited. The CRE will advise AGLC in writing and request authorization to donate the money to a charity approved by AGLC. The Gaming Chairman will designate one clock device to serve as the “official timer” for the duration of the event. The Gaming Chairman will determine when the 12:00 noon deadline has passed.

9. How to Claim Prize:
For all draws, the winning ticket holder must present themselves and the winning ticket to the 50/50 room located at the east end of the 50/50 Administration Building by 10:00 pm on the day of the draw or between 8:00 am and no later than 12:00 noon the following day. The 50/50 Administration building is the small grey building located to the east of the Market Place Trade Show Main Building. The 50/50 administration building is close to Check Point 6 on the Big Valley Jamboree Information Brochure map. 5050 Administration Signage will be on the building. The 50/50 winner must present the winning ticket which will be verified using the 50/50 computer system. Once the ticket is verified, the winner will be paid by cheque. It is the winners’ responsibility to ensure the safety and security of the cheque. No other cheque will be issued if lost or stolen. If there is a discrepancy between the announced number and the actual number, the actual number on the drawn ticket will be the valid winning number.

10. Prize Payout:
For each day of the raffle, the prize payout will be 50% of the value of total tickets sold and not on cash retained by sellers. The Prize will be paid out by cheque. There are no substitutions and the prize is not transferable.

11. Other Information:
The purchaser of any type of 50/50 ticket is responsible to read and become familiar with the rules and regulations of the raffle. The rules are available on the CRE website at www.cre.ab.ca, as indicated in the front of the ticket, and are posted at any stationary booth that sells 50/50 tickets. The purchaser is responsible to keep their ticket safe from all weather conditions. Unauthorized persons copying, selling, or altering tickets are subject to prosecution. A 50/50 Raffle ticket will be void and a prize not paid or redeemed if there is proof that the ticket was stolen, not issued, ineligible, altered, counterfeit, defective, printed in duplicate, or printed/produced in error. The Service Provider and the Camrose Regional Exhibition are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets or tickets redeemed in error by their agents. All tickets, transactions and winners associated with the 50/50 Raffle are subject to the rules, regulations and procedures put in place by the Camrose Regional Exhibition and the lawful charges thereof. If more than one 50/50 ticket containing the winning ticket number is presented, the winning ticket will be deemed to be the original ticket and not the ticket(s) containing the words “reprinted ticket”. If a reprinted ticket is presented and no original ticket is also presented, then the reprinted ticket will be deemed to be the winning ticket. The Camrose Regional Exhibition may rescind, cancel, amend or revoke the raffle, subject to the prior approval of AGLC. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Camrose Regional Exhibition reserves the right to cancel or modify the raffle and/or these official rules, in whole or in part and without notice, if the Camrose Regional Exhibition determines that fraud or technical or other failures have threatened or destroyed the integrity of the raffle.
